Upon completing the formula for the translation of the genetic code (see previous work), I've applied it to the DNA sequence of a living organism, starting with the most common model organism in biology, a Drosophila Melanogaster (fruit fly).

With the DNA sequence of a fruit fly translated into music, she rehearsed the score on the piano eventually presenting it as a sound installation accompanied by the complete manuscript of the translation: Drosophila Melanogaster for Piano. In other installations I experimented using an orchestra or an opera singer to play the score along with drawings explaining the process of translation.
